So Friday and saturday have both been pretty mental :p
Friday we ventured out into KL we went to the Pavillions which is a massive 8 story high shopping centre and there we went to TGi fridays which was lovely and dirt cheap we also saw like a korean version of one direction. We then went out on the streets (this was night time) and it was like a worse version of egypt people trying to sell things round every corner and people asking for money. We got looked at so much even though we were covered up. we went for a drink at a bar then which was lovely but its so weird to see people in doors smoking then we grabbed some ice cream and headed back.
Saturday was our tour of KL we went to the revolving tower and had an amazing buffet lunch trynig alll new things it was so good then we went to the observation deck to look out on to kuala lumpur, After that we got taken to a handicraft centre to have a look round and then to midvalley shopping centre, we did a bit of shopping we also bought 12 krispy kreme doughnuts for 5 british pounds. We then met some guys from a different uni who showed us where to eat and where to go out as all the girls had bought an overnight bag as we were planning on stopping. Anyway after eating it was like half 7-8 and we were like we have no where to go dont know where we are and we will have to wait 3 or 4 hours for night life to pick up and we were shattered so we decided to come back to campus and walk to jj's instead ..... that was a scary walk to do :/ was okay though we were a big group JJ's was amazing we had good drinks he kept giving us free food and wine i managed to buy 3 tequilas and 3 vodka redbulls for 7 british pounds ... CRAZY. Kiz then plugged her ipod in and some guy got on a stool to dance. All us girls looked at each other and was like yeah so we got on the bar and we were dancing away. Drinking in Malaysia is so different like the locals are very laidback and alot of them drink whereas we thought it would be like a tee total country. But yeah overall an amazing first proper night out in Malaysia however i did obtain an injury :/ i was dancing and put my hands up forgetting how close the ceiling was and got attacked by a fan but i seem to have made a habit out of hurting my fingers during the beginning of uni

Such a good day ....
So yesterday was the really long and tedious induction day where we given the same information over and over again from 9 am to 5 pm :/ and we were getting bored of not going off campus so we decided we were going to venture out ...
First of all the uni were hosting a lantern party where we had lanterns and ate Chinese moon-cake which was quite nice a pastry hidden sort of malt loaf that turned out to be red bean paste so nice and we took some lovely photos.
Then we were going to catch the bus from uni to the local bar called Jay Jays which was meant to be due at 11 it never came so we gave up and started walking home, then we sow it at half 11 come round the corner so Jazz (after been a turkey twizzler) ran for it and we ended up in Jay Jays. I can imagine the bar is very much like local bars you would get in Malaysia we went and we were the only people but we had an amazing time we practised Malay with the bartenders that were really impressed with how much we knew and then the bartender who was lovely asked if we had tried any malaysian food like the proper stuff and we were like errr no so he took is to the authentic malaysian place to eat and ordered us a variety of different dishes to try which were amazing they were lovely and we again got to try our Malay out. Bless the Bartender (Navi) he then paid for alll the food and took us back to campus.
It was such an amazing experience as you felt truly immersed into the culture i loved it. I have also come to realise in a country like Malaysia and i suppose any country if you want the full cultural experience the locals are the best ones to show you how. Sometimes its good to take a risk it pays off ... but always keep your distance and stay in a group :)
OMG in the bar too the man gave me the plug to play my own music in their so like 1 in the morning i only have my phone so like malaysia is listening to Vybz Kartel, Chris Martin and Jah Cure lol :P xxx

X Ray Day
Today was very very hot couldn't breath was sooo humid ... woke up at half 5 again this mornign and couldn't back to sleep finally found the hot switch on my shower so had a lovely shower.
X-rays were hilarious we thought we were going to the hospital but we went to this wierd dingy looking street x-ray place that was literally a box room with a women (who was lovely) taking x-rays we had to strip to our pants bra n all (behind a screen) n put on this blue gown then stand with our hands behind our backs while she did her x-ray very strange but over in a flash.
Then we got back ate and got changed for gym and went to gym from 13:40 to 15:00 so was really proud jas worked me hard its a tiny gym but still has what you need then we met up with Ben the Student Union President to discuss freshers week packages looks like the pool party is off (thank god) but they have some good nights out planned xxx we then went to the swimming pool omg it is amazing i loved it Kiran and me were just splashing around whereas jas and some other girls were doing lengths :P
After that we met up with some lads and went for lunch it was lovely.
Finally bought a Malaysian Sim card and ...... get this... some Dr. Dro. Boats the new cooler improved ... Dr. Dre Beats

My First Day
So arrived in KL finally yesterday after our 18 hour flight then had to wait longer for transfers :/ so was very very tired. The drive to the uni was enlightening made you realise that you were in another country. It felt like the old sharm part of Egypt. Campus is beautiful there are loads of stray dogs around and cats around people are so casual about it you can tell all the newbies because they make a mile detour to avoid the dogs :p.
My room here is so nice and the people are so friendly and willing to help. After unpacking we spoke to some of the girls on the same floor as us they seem really nice so looking forward to getting to know the
Then we went to get some food my first meal in Malaysia was Beef Maggi i don't think its strictly Malaysian i think its just the Maggi seasoning we get in the shake and bake packs lol :P
The first day was pretty basic short time to experience the uni but overall a calm settling in :D
